INTACS Surgery

Hi

I have been put forward for INTACS surgery but understand that it is fairly recent and was wondering whether anyone in the group has had the procedure ?

Mark,

Welcome to the forum.

Intacts surgery has been around for a while just not been that common in the UK.

There are a few people who have had intacts surgery, but as with anyother surgery the benefits take time to become apparent.

I will let those who have had the surgery give more detail.

Mark - if you put Intacs into the search facility on this forum, you'll find all the postings of the people who've had it done recently.

Good advice from Anne - there are a few of us in the forum at various stages of treatment who may be able to share their experiences. For best results when searching spell it like you did INTACS and not like Gareth! :) (Nothing personal Gareth - you're doing a great job)
