External refuse to let patients book the next appointment at reception (appointments 'not on system').
1 hour later, appointment received.
If it's not suitable by day or time, Bookings say they can't change it, no appointments on the system, or send out another appointment after call - repeat and repeat. They refuse to rebook with you sitting with your diary.
Or they say they will get the dept to call you, but they "can't guarantee" they will.
Bookings don't respond to emails, PALS always on answerphone and emails do not achieve anything.
So the system appears to be - you will do whatever appointment you are given or you call endlessly.
