Covid vaccine and graft rejection

Postby Green » Sun 11 Sep 2022 1:00 pm

I noticed a few articles about DMEK rejection after covid vaccination, but it appears that these are a few isolated cases.
A Moorfields consultant wrote to increase or commence steroid drops 2 days before or even on the day steroid drops as a precaution.
I've had 3 jabs and will be offered a 4th, I might ask my consultant if he wants me to delay it after recent DMEK.

this is interesting, given a lot of other random things have been medically noted from covid jabs including changes to menstual cycles in people who have a uterus
May09 Diagnosed with KC, March 2010 after a failed transplant it has left me legally blind a long cane user (since 2010) who is blind in a once sighted world

That's been the consistent advice I have been given too.
