I believe I have blepharitis on 1 eyelid.

I've a good microwave heated eye thingy from "eye doctor", use that for 10 mins, followed by 30 secs massage, found a good ophthalmologist youtube vid for instructions. It's definitely easier to do it using some "Blephagel" with the index finger.

I've read about using a cotton bud dipped in water & a drop of baby shampoo and there are lid wipes.

Do you reckon do all of the above?

I've found the baby shampoo the best approach. I have taken a more aggressive approach though. After I have washed my hands and face thoroughly, dilute shampoo about 1:10 and give the eyelids and lashes a good lathering, rinse well trying to avoid getting shampoo actually in your eye, but it seems relatively eye friendly given its intended use.

Do you have any little white lumps on your lid?

Twice a day if I need to. When it settles down I drop it off, so no not continuously. However, I seem to have pollen issues in May and June so I try give them a clean regularly before trouble starts. The microwave eyepad also gives pretty quick relief.

I use the exact same mask, I find it strikes the best balance between convenience and results. Prior to getting it I used cooled down boiled water and cotton pads.

I also started my regime with cotton buds and baby shampoo but again I found it quite cumbersome so reverted to a blepharitis wipe every morning. I buy them in bulk of amazon as they're pricey on the high street.

The above regime done daily or at worst once every two days has at least stopped the large chalazions on my lids due to blockages.

if using baby shampoo do NOT Johnsons as they changed the formula a few years ago n it now contains chemicals which are harmful to the eyes, when I do this I use "earth friendly" (thats the brand name) as it is free from said chemical. but as I have chronic blepharitus tbh nothing really shifts it for long. x

What's people's favourite lid wipes?

I get Lumecare ones on amazon primarily because they are more affordable than some other brands available on the High Street.
