Bausch & Lomb Products Recall (+Boots & Specsavers)

I'm pleased to say that when I checked my stock and I have a fair bit 90 % was ok, and we may get digital vouchers for the items we have to throw away

I followed all the instructions, checking Lot numbers, registering them, photographing affected stock and emailing them, there hasn't been a single acknowledgement or offer of reimbursement yet

There is a freephone number and email contact here https://www.blrecall.expertinquiry.com/contact, but I imagine there is quite a lot to work through given the range of products.

Unfortunately, because Bausch + Lomb have moved the sterilization of the components of these products to a new supplier, we expect product availability to be intermittent from June until August 2021 while the supply is built back up in the marketplace. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused. I hope this answers your question.

They've now replied to me and changed their original instructions which I followed - registering each item, taking a photograph of each item clearly showing Lot number, then emailing them with confirmation number.
Now they're saying photo's with signature &date which I can't redo as I threw them away. Good way of not paying out guys.

Thank you for contacting Bausch and Lomb with your query about Boston solutions.

Bausch + Lomb’s Boston® Advance Cleaner and Conditioner are expected to have intermittent supply until Autumn 2021.

The remainder of the lens care range, including Boston Simplus All in One solution are expected to have an intermittent supply between July and September before normal supply expectations should return.

Please contact your optician to seek a temporary alternative and please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
