Contact lens post graft

Postby gsward » Fri 26 Apr 2019 8:52 pm

I had my graft in January and all has been good since. In June the plan is to try a contact lens fitting. What have been others experiences and which lens types have you tried / preferred? I have negligible astigmatism and my graft is central. A scleral seems the obvious choice as I have used them before and still do in the other eye.

Plus a scleral would vault the cornea and the stitches which must be an advantage. And if you wear a scleral in the other eye, then the two eyes will 'match'. I hope all goes well when you go for the fitting. Do let us know how you get on.
