Intacs and Contact Lenses

I started wearing mini scleral about 4 months ago after I had my intac procedure and I'm honestly not a big fan of them. Weird I know, as it seems many people seem to get on with sclerals. But I much preferred my rgps and so clears, however my doctor has said since I have had intacs put in, something that sits on the whites of my eyes instead of the actual cornea would be better suited... however this does not seem remotely correct from what I have read. Everything I have read says that intacs should make rgps more comfortable, not that they will not be suitable to wear.

Can anyone else that has had intacs confirm that they have worn rgps and it is completely fine for them?
