The majority of us of course are not blind veterans and unlikely to have the income to do that or surpass it. The reality for most is probably provided by Loopy Lou in her latest post - not even being able to afford to wear the lenses after losing our jobs.
I hope that this post passes the moderators test for acceptability.

It's a great film Ash, well done.
I hope that the festival will also consider films showing a broad spectrum of experience too including great struggle, because as with any condition, everyone copes differently, and there are still lessons to be learnt (and solidarity and support) to be gained from seeing the struggles too which might not have a great achievement ending
