AFTER 15 MONTHS STITCHES ARE COMING OUT FROM MY 4TH GRAFT...HOW LONG TILL YOU CAN TRY CONTACT LENSES!
ANY ONE TRIED "Elements Hybrid" LENSES ARE THEY BETTER THAN SYNERGY LENSES?

Hi, George, good question. It would depend on the type of graft. I had Left Eye DALK, and my sutures were removed much earlier than most, but, I wasn't allowed to start wearing a lens for nearly six months after surgery. I've never been prescribed hybrid lenses before. Although I am researching them for my next visit. Sorry I can't much more than that.

I think that's unusually long, Knight, but it obviously varies according to what's going on with the graft. It takes a few weeks for the graft and the vision to settle after the stitches come out, but a month or two will probably be OK for most people. But do check with your own consultant.
