When people have had a graft, how long have they waited until they have been allowed to wear a soft lens?

I don't know if it's any different for soft lenses than it is for hard. Hospitals used to like to wait until sutures were out before prescribing a rigid lens. But with my recent regraft I was given an rgp lens around 6 months after the op. And I know that a while ago now, Moorfields were trying out sceral lenses post graft after 3 months or so (I guess the shape of sclerals means they generally wouldn't be in contact with the area of the sutures). It would be interesting to hear other people's experiences/
