UK Keratoconus Self-Help and Support Association

This is to confirm that the next West Midlands Meeting will be held at the usual place at the Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre (behind the City Hospital on Dudley Road) starting at 11am on Saturday 9th July.

It will be a support session aimed at helping anyone recently diagnosed with keratoconus and gives an opportunity to talk with others who have or are affected by KC so come along to ask questions about managing life with KC if you're a newbie or come along to offer advice and share your experiences if you aren't.

Where is usual place? Have you got a postcode for area of the hospital?

Certainly Adam, the City Hospital postcode is B18 7QH and the Eye Centre is behind the main buildings with car access via Western Road which runs off Dudley Road (A457). There will be signs for the meeting when you go in but it is in the outpatients coffee bar area (which isn't open on a Saturday). Please let me know if you need any more info.

Just to confirm that the meeting will take place as planned at 11:00am this coming Saturday in the Midland Eye Centre and everyone welcome. I also have a short report from one of our members who had a graft at Moorfields a month ago that I will read out as Ashley won't be there. He has said though that he will be happy to answer any questions that arise so I will pass them on and the answers can appear on this forum.
