Any tips for vitamins/diet/exercise??

Hi, I'm new to this forum and have previously avoided reading posts as it makes me anxious. I have been living with Keratoconus for approximately 16 years. I was diagnosed aged 13 and I'm now 29. I have had cross linking and can currently just about manage in glasses which is helpful as my eyes are stupidly sensitive and get very agitated by my hard contacts. I try hard to adjust to wearing them, but I end up with eye infections and agitation.

I'm trying to make some changes in my life to ensure that I'm looking after my eyes. I wondered if people would mind sharing what vitamins/supplements they take for their eyes? I also wondered if people have found any eye yoga exercises to be helpful? I'm aware that general exercise can also be helpful, but have just read that weight training should be avoided, which I was a bit shocked by? If any one has any tips for good eye health it would be great to hear it.......

As an aside, in scanning through some of the posts, I have found it re-assuring how supportive this community is, and have also found it inspiring how brave people can be....thank you.

Dear Jake,

Thank you for this reply. I've had a good look at the thread and its really helpful, especially as I experience a lot of dry eye since my cross linking. Have a good Monday :)

Fiona.
