INTACTS: eye ache and general urge to shut eye!

I have KC in both eyes. I use my good eye mainly and this is corrected by glasses. My bad eye has intolerance to CL's now, I had intacts inserted a year ago which did NOT prove to be as much of a success as anticipated at that stage. The refractive surgery i had a month ago may change this. I live in hope! Because I have one good eye and one bad eye I suffer with tiredness / eye fatigue.

The latest symptom, since the intacts and more recently since the recent surgery is the ache that developes as the day progessess. It is not painfull as such. It feels like the sensation of wearing rgps too long and that mild urge to take them out. Of course I have no rgp to take our so the solution is to have a nap.

I work in a demanding office management post.

Any similar experiences or comments. Is this normal?
