Double vision post graft

Postby Steven Williams » Sat 08 Feb 2014 8:06 pm

No major problems - rejection/infection (just a bit of a droopy eyelid feeling) so far with my graft which was done on 5 November however on Monday I experienced double vision after 5 hours of interrogation by the Judge at a Preliminary Tribunal hearing for unfair dismissal.

Have any KC graftees experienced double vision and if so what was identified as the problem?

multiple images are a hazzard of the dx of KC, you are still mega early post transplant n they do say it isnt known what vision could be like for a good 18month - 2 years post graft, as thats when adaptations can be used if needed.

Hope it starts to settle for you, as multiple images and objects is a pain in the neck.

May09 Diagnosed with KC, March 2010 after a failed transplant it has left me legally blind a long cane user (since 2010) who is blind in a once sighted world

Sorry to hear you're having to go through an ET Steven, hope it works out for you. I imagine judicial interrogation is going to be pretty stressful, could that have been a factor?
