Itchy Eyes, especially in cornerw

Postby ravgeeza » Tue 09 May 2006 8:27 am

Good Morning group,

My Name is Ravi Appadoo and i have posted articles on here before with great success,

Im a post kornea Graph patient and have graphs on both eyes, lens have worked up to a point, but i can only see properly ot of the left eye, im due for another operation on the right eye to try and smooth it out so that i can get a better fitting contact lens.

The major problem i am having right now is my eyes are very very itcy, and i think it could be hayfever. Not to sure what kind but nothing and i mean nothing seems to be working.

I have tried systane eye drops for over two months now and that does not seem to help.

I have also tried hayfever drops such as sodium cromoglycate (Not to sure on the spelling),

Has anyone got itchy eyes especially in the corners towards the nose, any help would be handy.

Many Thanks, long suffering person.

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

I too get itching near the corner of the yes and Sytsane works for me, but I do use it about 4 times per day. More if the itching is bad.

If the itching has continued and none gone with the drops you ave tried I would strongly advise speaking with your GP and if your consultation for the corective cornneal surgery is near, speak to them as aswell.

I tried over a dozen solutions before settling on Systane and then it took over a month to settle on the frequency of using Systane and rest time during the day for lenses.

As the medicine patient leaflets say, if sytems continue see your GP.
