I am pretty sure that the trauma of that interview explains quite a lot of the decisions I have made since.

I had a similar experiance to debbie

My optician spotted it when I was 17 and he referred me to my gp who referred me to the hospital, the hospital then referred me to their contact lens specialist, barry holland. Now all I see is Dr Holland for lenses. I have not had any sort of scans for a long time, >4 Years.

So should I get another one done, or are they not worried about my KC I wonder.

Im new to these forums and they are excellent, finally intearctively meet people with KC

John

Welcome to the forum.

I presume that the contact lens specialist whom you see is part of the hospital staff?

It was the hospital optometrist who got me to see an ophthalmologist on the same day as I presented with a problem with my lenses, so being in touch with those people is probably as good as it gets.

Yours aye

Terrance

Welcome to the forum. What you describe must be the worst sort of nightmare for any parent: It may be of some comfort for you to know that there is hope!

I know of at least one member of the forum who has strong links to the West Indies, and I hope that she will be in touch soon.

In the meantime, please be assured that you are in the thoughts of us all.

Yours aye

Andrew
