Hello and welcome to the forum,
Intacs don't usually improve unaided vision very much. The idea behind them is to make the cornea flatter which will then hopefully make contact lenses easier to fit and give better vision with lenses. If you put Intacs into the search on this forum, you'll find posts from people who have found they worked well for them, and others who weren't so happy. I'm afraid that like everything in KC, there aren't any magic solutions which work for everybody.
If you're not already on our postal mailing list and would like more information about the various options, do e-mail or PM your postal address to anne@keratoconus-group.org.uk and I'll send you some.
Anne
