sucker/plungy things for scleral lenses!

hi all
Just wondering if any one could please tell me where i could order some of those little white plungy/sucker things for my scleral lenses as i only have 1 left!
Moorfield's did send me some a while back but they were made of rigid white plastic and so did'nt hold suction to the lens at all.

thanks for that andrew although i do have a funny feeling from looking at the photo that they are the same ones as what moorfields sent me! I wish they would just make them all the same, still i may well give it a try!

My wife got mine from one of the high street opticians in our area.

Not all do them, but in my area they will certainly tell you who does them.

Any probs, let me know and I will get some for you, I have two and they are both about 6 months old and still going strong. A soft flexible white rubber.

They are only about a £1 each and so damn small postage will be negligable.

Do you think there is enough demand for me to stock up and flog them on e-bay for a profit

A friend of mine worked for British Aerospace on computer systems a long time ago, but it went pear shaped when he forgot to take off his CND badge when going into work. Let's just put it like this, his line manager made it very clear that unless he resigned he was not going to get out of the psychiatric hospital for a very long time [said whilst the psych nurse looked the other way and refused to witness what was being said]

I went to an opticians today and the lady said to me that they discouraged the use of the plungy/sucker things, because people who wore RGP lenses were'nt using them properly and also were'nt being hygenic enough! She said the only patients who do use them are us scleral lens wearers! She did however pop out the back to see if they may have some somewhere and they did! she gave me 2 which are slightly different to my usual ones in that they have a hole in the middle so that when you put it on the lens it holds a suction far easier. Anyone tried this type before?
Anyway there's my little update!
