I have to see my optometrist again today because the astigmatism in my grafted eye changes every time the tension on the suture that wouldn't let go changes.
You wouldn't think that a little, overweight, balding man with grey hair had much about which to be vain, but you'd be wrong! I buy the lenses with the extra dense material (I think they are made by Zeiss). This lets them look 'normal' while delivering the sort of correction I need.
Oh well, it keeps Barclaycard solvent and the optician in business.

Ah good luck.
My prescription in my right eye (the good one) seems to be in a state of minor flux at the moment as well. The optom has told me to not worry as long as I can read road signs!
Well you have now ruined the image I had of you looking like Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider !
I know what you mean about the lenses though, its quite horrid the way the price rockets as the lenses become more dense.
Hopefully my new sunglasses will be ready in the next couple of days.

My optpmetrist told me the same thing. There has been a change but as I am still legal to drive I was told I would not need new specs. Phew!
she gave me a computer print-out of my prescrioption changes since last November so that I can give these to the ophthalmologist when I see him next Thursday.
Gareth
I think I'm going to ask the ophthalmologist to yank the suture from my eye while I am unconscious when he grafts my other eye. I'll let you all know what he says.
ths losers in all this are the poor people at Barclaycard. I don't lnow how they are going to manage now that I have failed to do myduty by them. Ah well, if they stay in business long enough, there's always next time!
