Happy St. Patrick's day

Postby Malena » Fri 17 Mar 2006 9:03 pm

to all. :D
I'm happy today because I went to my doctor this morning, and she found a contact that it might work in my ungrafted eye.

Is a new brand named: Dyna Z cone, I bought it and I will wait for it 2 weeks to try it on.

My vision with that new brand is 20/40, my doctor said that is pretty good considering my advanced case of keratoconus.

I'm so happy because there is a possibility not to do the cornea transplant in that eye too.

thanks to all for your replies and support.

The Dyna Z Cone is similar to a Intra Lymbal if memory serves me right!....and yes I can remember them being soo comfortable...but for me I couldnt get as sharp vision! But glad of your results!!

Jayuk.
I feel that contact comfortable with piggyback, but I don't care using 2 contacts, because to be honest with you, I don't want to do another transplant until I try all the possibilities.

Is good to know that certain companies are developing new contacts for KC patients, because my doctor told me that this specific brand dyna z cone came out in 2005.

I will let you know how I'm doing with my new contact in 2 weeks.

Bye

Malena

I agree with your approach...my final path was the Piggy Back...and did do my vision justice for another 6+ months

Look forward to "seeing" how well they work for you! :-)

Best of luck with it! I am using piggy backing myself and find it very comfortable so hoping all will be ok.

Take care, Sweet X x X

What happened to Sweet's sig icon?

I was watching to see if the little rabbit ever got to eat the egg, and suddenly it\s over. did the rabbit go into a pie? did the egg get scrambled? Will we ever know?

I can see tomorrow's headline

Rabbit absconds with egg: Government probe looms

Police in London were involved in a cross city mercy dash yesterday as Sweet's Rabbit disappeared in mysterious circumstances with her pink egg.

Questioned at the scene, Chief Superintendent Lappin(62) said, "we ae pursuing a number of lines of enquiry."

Meantime the Government has established an official probe into the circumstances of the disapperance. Members of the public were being encouraged to remain calm.

I am really upset that they seem to have disappeared! Maybe John is onto the case and they will suddenly turn up!!

Reward waiting for my lost pics but my poor bunny does NOT need a good home, he already has one here!!!
