Hi Anne,

Sorry to read about your continued Moorfields problems. Andrew is right though, this IS the place to moan :)

Best of luck with Ken - not that you'll need it. I'm sure he'll be able to help you out.
John

Andrew

Took your advice and went to see my daughters head teacher. She was very understanding and we discussed different situatione where there might be problems.
Feel so much better now about going to the school on monday.
Thankyou for the advice.

Hi Anne

I can really relate to how you're feeling about going into school. My sight was at its worst when my girls were small and I used to find the new situations that you are constantly confronted with when they are that age all but overwhelming. You've definitely done the right thing by going in to see the head teacher.

I hope it goes well for both you and your daughter.

Hi Anne

hope all goes well for you both on Monday

best wishes

don't let the people that mean nothing to you get you down, because in the end they are worth nothing to you, they are just your obstacles in life to trip you up!

Hi all

Everything went well at school yesterday. We both had a great time.
Went to see Ken Pullum today and that went really well. We had a great chat about KC in general and tried some scleral lenses which felt great and really improved eyesight. I think to driving standard. (not that i can drive). Its so nice to see someone so passionate about what they do. Need to wait now for a appointment to see him at Moorfields, should be about 4 months so looking forward to that. Feel really positive about this.

Anne

Good news Anne.

If your sight can be improved that much, you can now threaten hubby with wanting driving lessons unless you get your way

That's excellent news Anne. :D

Keep a tight hold on those positive feelings and don't let them go.
