Why can't the world just be pink and fluffy

Postby Drew Radcliffe » Sun 12 Feb 2006 4:59 pm

Hi Peeps

Having just shifted my latest bought of man flu. I am now nursing a ringing in my ears which seems to be worsen with amplitude and higher freequency.

Because of my KC and nystagmus I depend so much on my hearing to orientate myself.

Anyone got any kewl tricks to get round this.

Have already considered a sensory deprevation tank and it sounds quite appealing.

Drew

trained ninja monkeys that fan out in a protective barrier help but failing that I bought a cool gadget called a Hearing Amp, funnily enough out of he 'Gadget Shop' years ago - as it's a hearing amplifier, uses regular earphones (which by wearing help cut down unwanted sound) but the little do-hicky is very small and you can point it at stuff, like a TV to improve the volume of lower range frequencies - works like a hearing-aid that you hold in your hand but without hurting your ears with the high-pitch squeak! Also, it has a good range, and if people are within 50meters away talking normally, point it at them and you can hear what they're saying! No its not a bugging device, it just happens to have that capability.
Only those with KC know the hidden beauty of a Christmas Tree.

Drew,

I think Sweet and a few other of the girlies are doing their best to start a pink and fluffy revolution.

I could send a radio clip with a pink reference that is far from fluffy, but extremelly rude :D

If you have a wicked sense of humour it will have you in stitches and perhaps take your mind off the tinitus.
