No, I've not heard of Ophtasiloxane - and I would have thought that I may have done since we have similar symptoms.

Just goes to show that if you hang in there and be patient, your graft will probably "kick-in" and you'll get better morning vision.

Hope you do!

Hey Per!

Actually, your English is excellent and your sense of the colour and shape of the language is exemplary. It is just that there is always a difficulty translating from one language to another.

Good pic of your medication!

Update on slow graft:

Have used the new drops since saturday and woke up today with allmost clear vision! Amazing! Plan now is to scale down number of drops per day from six to one. And then we´ll see. I will try to have some photoes taken at my next appt, of both grafts. Speciallt interessted in the lasik-graft.

Have a nice and clearsighted day! :)

Well back from "Glesga", Andrew. And the graft now cope well without french drops. Saw Ibrox and Parkhead, Glasgow School of Arts. Ate haddoc and drank Tennants lager. By the way, I perfectly well understad now why you brits use hand sanitzers before using eye drops:) The bacterial flora in glaswegian pub toilets seem to extend anything ever experienced before, even though I am not an expert.

Now the final lasik on the old graft is to be done. This really will be something, and my surgeon says he will try to make it perfect. I`ll keep you updated.

How is your graft coping now, John ? Ever mentioned the drops I have used to your consultant?

Hi Per,

Glad to see that your graft has now got up to full speed.

Mine isn't too far behind, but although the cloudyness is not there every morning these days vision is still variable throughout the day.

So I'm having the other eye done, this time with a DALK.

Hopefully, I'll have at least one eye at a time working then :-)
John

Hej Per

some of us manage to survive without going into the pubs whose toilets proved siuch an adventure. Still you saw both Ibrox and Parkhead, and spent time in one of Europe's most beautiful cities!

Glas to know things are going well for you.

Stay in touch

Your eye is really looking good, Per.

Did they do the suture with a sweing machine? The stitches look very even!
