Puff of air at the opticians, blue glowy thing at the hospital.

Val - I have the same problem with opening my eyes wide enough for them - but then I don't have a lot of eyeball surface area showing anyway (hope that makes sense). They usually end up holding my lids back for me. Lovely.

Small eye survace visible: me too! Never mind I usually manage to get and hold my eye wide enough open for them to manage to do their worst without resorting to extraordinary measures.

Comparing the two, obviously the blood has reduced significantly and it seems as if the stitches have darkened. It also appears (to me) that the join between the new cornea and the old is starting to blur.

In the meantime, the eye still hurts, the rubbing of the stitches and the inside of the eyelid is still an irritant and I have a need to rub the eye - I haven't yet and know that I shouldn't.

Am still very light sensitive and seem to be able to watch TV or use the computer for around half an hour before needing to rest as it gets quite painfull. Still this is a gradual improvement which I am quite pleased about.[img][/img]

That is an amazing pic Paul

I think you can expect to remain quite light sensitive for a long time to come. But sun specs become a gentleman in the summer.

Looking and sounding good Paul. :D

Improvement is so gradual that you don't realise how far you've come until you look back over a period of time - well I didn't anyway. :D
