Hah! Only 1 registered user [me] and 3 guests (it's 9.11am now)! Does anyone knows what's the difference between Hydrop and Edema and Oedema? I don't understand the cheym medical explanation my doctor gave.. c["..]'

Edema is a variant spelling of oedema, so they areally are the same thing. This is caused by the accumultion of water in the cells of tissue and results in inflamation and pain.

Hydrops of the eye is a condition caused by the endothelium (the membrand at the back of the cornea) breaking to allow fluid from within the eye to flood into the cornea. The rest of the eye remains healthy,
