Is Pred Forte supposed to be white??

I think the reason is that the part of the eye recieving oksygen via blood wessels are seen as the critical ones in an eventual rejection of the donor cornea. Well, I really know too little about this.

As for the olympics, I have never heard of any Scot participating, with steroids or without. Looking forward to seeing you on TV Andrew:)

Well with all the specialist olympics, maybe I'll make it into the Geriatric Olympics in ten years time! Problem is I have no diea which event I ought to enter.

Never mind. I'm happy watching as other people do things to which I could never have aspired. The Olympics coming to London will be a great event. I hope to get tickets and spend my days in the main stadium grumbing that "in my day, atheletics were atheletics:.

Glad it wasn't just me who thought it was clear John! Thought I was going nuts the other day when I completely missed face never mind eye and it landed on work top - despite best efforts of labrador to intercept it! My labs really will eat anything - even the horses carrots - which results in orange poo, but I'm drifting off the subject here a little! With regard to the Olympics I doubt I'll make it but am concerned I may get tested positive for the marathon!!!! Hubby says my voice is now a baritone and I have more chest hair than him! I do not like shot put or javelin events and I do not have big biceps, nor is my name Olga!! And Scotland have had people at the Olympics!! Liz McColgan - brilliant marathon runner!! But there's definately not been many from the Isle of Man! I'm not Manx so I couldn't represent them, even on my horse - though our dressage has a few too many handbrake turns to qualify for the Olympic squad! Off to do milky drops! Tubs

The problem with the Olympic team is that it represents the UK and not the individual nations, making Olympic sport unique as in every other field Scotland England (sometimes Northern) Ireland and Wales have an opportunity to compete against each other.

I had never asked what happened to the semi-automomous parts of the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. do they not contribute to the Olympic team?

Hehe, I didn´t even think about that. When I think of it there is only one Brittish participant in the winter olympics in my mind, and that is the famous, legendnady Eddie the Eagle in ski jumping. Wearing his heavy glasses in the air he might just as well have been a KC`er too

Life is never simple if you live in the UK. We are a single nation for the Olympics. In other sporting respects we are four nations, and sometimes the two jurisdictions on the Irish mainland become a single entity.

The semi-autonimous islands, Isle of Man, Guenrsey, Jersey, Isle of Sark, Isles of Sillie etc all have an odd relationship with the UK, their own parliaments, money etc. Indeed, I believe that the Isle of Man has the oldest surviving Parliament in Europe.

Sometimes I envy the Norwgian experience. One Nation with three (or is it four) different languages but you celebrate together your National Day every May 17. By the way, Per, congratulations on the constitution.

hi there pred forte is a steroid eye drop for use in my case post graft it has such a great taste to it (not)

anyways i had worse than pred forte drops

i think its used to stop rejection and infections

dont take that for certain though

I pretty much self administer my pred forte. I have not used it for a few months, but when i get twinges I get a script and dose myself. I live 3 hours from my opthalmologist and he has told me when I need to dose and how often and to ring him.
After the birth of my second child I had a minor rejection in my Right eye. For some reason it has never behaved as well as my Left. I was having intra ocular cortisone injections every second day for a week as well as hourly Pred Forte drops. My son put on 800 gms that week and 600 the next. I think steroids cross the milk barrier.
