Went back and saw the doctor today. He said the intac has done what he wanted it to, and putting another intac in wouldn't really achieve anything. So thats good news i didnt really want another operation.
So we are getting the CXL (UV light treatment) on the eye, to help further strengthen it. So that's booked in for the 28th October.
Still no word on the treatment been covered by health funds at this stage. I have six weeks, i might contact a few places and see if there is any news on this. I will let you know how i go.
Hopefully my right eye will be good soon, but i am never going to have perfect vision in it, pretty much my left eye does all the seeing, and even with the KC my left eye is still 20/20 vision.
Annoyed!
