Hi

Yes having a full versus a DALK is a different kettle of fish.......as you shall be replacing the full thickness of the KC cornea.

-20 makes sense..thats serious Astigmatism

Have you tried sclerals?....

Did they remove the stitches early or something?..

Sorry I'm not being very clear. With regard to the full graft I just meant if there would be a difference with the stitches and tension as opposed to the partial graft.
I had the stitches tightened in Jan, a month after the graft as they had cheese wired. Then stitches were removed and a discision to have single stitches was made as hopefully it would give more options in being able to get the correct shape.
My healing was within a month. I don't think they've ever seen healing that quickly.
I have had many years battling with all the lenses possible and am currently still wearing a scleral lens in left eye, although i can only get second line down on chart. The vision in mt right eye with the scleral was very poor, so the graft was a very last option.
Sorry to ramble on
Kim

Shall we call you Super Kim lol..thats some excelent healing you got there!

I think the fact that you had stiches in and out and in and out may have impacted alot on this......as they would have more than likely lost an element of control....even though you was healing fast...
