To add to all of that.... ( and flaxseed can be VERY good!)
Hot compresses can also be very good as they stimulate the glands in your lids. Use a flannel soaked in boiled water that has cooled to a tolerable level of heat. Wring out and place over your eyes until cool. Do this morning and night and it can help. It is also possible to get dry pads you microwave.

Celluvisc are good, So is Oxyal. Both preservative free
