6/6 is equivalent to 20/20
Each measurement compares the actual vision measured to the vision of a 'normally sighted person.
thus 6/6 says that the vision measured at 6 metres is the same as a normally sighted person would be able to see at 6 metres, while 20/20 records vision that the examinee was seeing at 20 feet what a normally sighted person would be able to see at 20 feet. (A metre is approximately 39.37 inches)
