well..that al makes good sense Lynn!

My optican fitted me with Pilkington Soft Perms and my vision is good, the hospital fiited me with Rose K's and the vision is not as good but the guy there said he 'hates' Soft Perms as he has seen the damage they do to the cornea??

I was'nt too concerned at this statement as I realised that he was much confident fitting the RGP's and not a fan of the soft perm and vice-versa with my highstreet optcian!

I guess we are all human and have different experiences and skills...in whatever we do for a living!

Dave.

Oh ho! (As they say in Trini)

Now the question is.... have you stayed with the soft perms or gone with the Rose K? Or both?

yep.... you hit the nail on the head. Optoms are only human - but it makes it confusing for patients who are seeking the "ultimate" solution to their problems.

I actually wish we could sort a professional section to a forum somewhere professionals could discuss their difficult cases...and swap their ideas... it wouldn't be appropriate here because this is really for KC's but its my ambition to do something like this!
Lynn
