Doing Well .....

Postby Diane Fitzhenry » Sat 03 Nov 2007 1:50 am

Hi Craig
You may remember me, I had my graft in my left eye on 19th Dec last yr. We were exchanging progress quite a bit at the time. Sadly I have been quite poorly (none KC related) and simply have been unable to log on to the site.
What have you been up to fella???? Some dream you must have been having!! All things considered you seem to be doing really well. Alas I have hardly any improvement so far. I can't read anything on the board and I'm still only seeing shapes and colours. I have been lucky as far as infection etc goes as I have not had any probs at all. I am still on the drops twice a day (preserve free) and I did still need the 'artifical tears' form time to time. I am a little disapointed, but my consultant has told me that after xmas he will be doing some corrective surgery and hopefully removing a suture or two. He thinks this will improve my astigmatism a great deal. He said that the graft was the first step in a long hike up hill. My reply was '' I have great walking boots, bring it on''. Typical scouser...... never give in Ha ha ....
I hope all continues to go well for you, keep me posted.
