Val \ Chris and Mike : Thanks! Hopefully itll be a breeze! And what with all the good outcomes on this board in the last year or so......I hope this ones another.

Sweet : Yep. Daya. First was Full. This will be DALK. That way I limit my risk should they ever both want to reject....as in theory the DALK shouldnt.

Yes I thought it was a full one last time. It has taken a long time with a DALK to get some vision but that is expected. I see 6/18 almost 6/12 with a contact but this is not bad considering I could see nothing before!

Hoping it all goes well and don't forget to use the nice walk in showers at East Grinstead!!! Wicked!!!  :P

Hehe yes I was! The showers are great!! I left surgery and ten minutes later after my sister went home I was taking a shower!

The nurse was very amused as she came looking for me to check post surgery but I was having a nice wash in the shower with some nice pink Lush shower gel!! Hehe, I wasn't really wanting to have a wash, I just wanted to go in the biggest walk in shower ever!!! And then just walk around my room with nice clean pj's and a fluffy dressing gown!!!

Oh isn't analgesia great!!!!

Wow, you UK'ers get to spend a night in hospital? Hmm......I'm going a couple of blocks to sleep on a friend's couch, then hop a ride to the clinic the next morning and off to the train station to go home.....and I'll get back iln time to work for three hours before the end of the day. pretty cushy for you all.........

Jay did you have the DALK on an eye that had previously had a full graft or is this the other eye?

In all honesty, the reason why its an overniter is that the op is in the late evening. 5 or 6pm. So I think that's the reason why.....
