John W,

I have solved the car heater problem by getting one of thsoe car air freshners thta clip on the vent. Removing the bulk of the gubbins and filling it with water so as the air from the vents goes over the airfreshner components it becomes hydrated and more comfortable for my eyes.

That sounds like a good idea! When i drove i never had the air con facing me, i just used to use the ones at my feet which was just as good.

Take care, Sweet X x X

The demister is the big problem for me and the only time I have the heater on.

I caught a bit of dust or something yesterday and it was not fun!

That is where I use the aircon, on recycle mode and the fan at high speed, the windows clear really quick by which time I have my stuff for work loaded and off I go fog free.

Dust is never a problem as I am not in the acr when it will chuck out dust :D

To be honest I use aircon all the time so the windows never fog, but the face vent which I do notice well as you know that air gets hydrated.

I simply always wear my wrap around shades when driving....they are not too dark for this time of the year, but save me from getting those pesky dust particles in the eye.

I quite agree with everyone though....air-con is a nightmare!
