Yes the nystagmus would make topography more difficult but I am glad they got enough for a diagnosis!

Watery eyes.. this may be down to your tear ducts not draining properly, which is a seperate issue. Hard to say without seeing your eyes!

They discharged you becasue if you don't want lenses and your KC is mild,the hospital system can't do much else for you. I will say though that contact lenses in themselves can sometimes dampen the effects of nystagmus. The clearer vision itself helps to reduce eye moevements. However, if the nystagmus was there from birth you may not get as much benefit - but it is certainly worth a try.
