Michael,
Amlodipine is a drug widely used and one that we see very often with patients. It is classified in a group known as a calcium channel blocker as it works by relaxing the blood vessels to the heart so that the heart doesn't have to pump so hard! Hence your blood pressure is reduced.
We get some people with symptoms mainly of dizziness, vomiting and tiredness. Everyone is obviously different, which is why as Gareth has said they have to list ALL side effects that people get, but you have been taking it for a long time now. It would be hard to know whether your eyesight deteriorated itself or whether it was a drug that caused it, but i hope that it will remain stable.
Hoping that helps, take care, Sweet X x X

Hi Sweet and thanks.
My only thought was that perhaps by stopping the Amlodipine and trying something else it could result in an improvement in eyesight assuming that it was indeed causing "visual disturbance". i realise that it would not be aggravating the KC as such.
From what you have said I realise that it is unlikely the tablets are the cause.
