What a bummer! Am sorry to hear that - at the moment I'm lucky enough not to even need lenses so I guess I should be thankful that it's been spotted at a very early stage.

Good luck with the transplant.

Hi Claire,

It is also possible for KC to stabalise. KC is known for having sudden bouts of rapid deterioration and then long periods of stability.

With any luck you have just been through a brief spell of detrioration and now enterng a period (a long one hopefully) of relative stability.

Regards

Gareth

Claire I am a newbie from today, however I have had KC for 10 years since diagnoses. When I was younger an optician said I had a lasy eye and wanted me to wear a patch!!!
Luckily a second opinion was sought (although at that time KC wasn't suspected
