Postby Paul Harris » Mon 08 Aug 2005 11:33 am

I am wearing softperm lenses and find my eyes are very sensitive to bright light and seem to sting a lot has any one got any ideas please. Could it be they are to tight on the eye,But how come on days when its not bright out they seem ok

Hi Paul,

Many of us with KC suffer the bright light. Sunglasses indoors for me and really dark glasses for outside work most of the time. Yesterday at Silverstone it was a bit bright for me, even with my darkest glasses.

My contact lenses are tinted as far as the optician dare go without making it dangerous for me to drive at night wearing them.

Finding the right tint may be trial and error. I have three sets of glasses which help with most situations.
