anyone have ICL experience?

G'day Team,

I posted about a year ago in regards to my KC situation and how I had to have one half of my Intac ring removed due to it causing a tear in my cornea back in December 2021, Since then I have had regular check ups at East Grinstead QVH and it seems they are happy with how things have settled, its looking likely I will be getting ICL surgery this year, I have two more check ups with the ophthalmologist then will be seeing a surgeon in May to determine if we can go ahead, then the contact lens will be ordered and surgery will take place shortly after.

I was just wondering if anyone has experience with an ICL being fitted and how it is for KC sufferers?

Not had it but my knowledge of them is very limited, so I’m keen to hear more about them and if worth looking into. Keep us posted as to how you get on and hope all goes well!

No problem, Unofrtunately things got a bit delayed and I've had my third prescription check up I have meeting ith surgeons on tuesday then hopefully I'll be getting the go-ahead my prescription has settled nicely so there shouldnt bw a reason to go ahead

and the date is set! I'll be in for Surgery at East Grinstead next Wednesday hopefully it all goes well I've had to drop the bomb on work to let them know I wont be at work for 2 weeks.......
