Recent Intac Surgery

Hello

I recently (3 days ago) had intacs inserted for my post lasik ecstasia in my right eye.
I am wondering if anyone can tell me about their experiences with the healing process.
I have significant ghosting and double vision in that eye.
I cannot find any info on if this is normal and if it goes away.
I also have some glare at the corner of my eye.
My vision went from 20/100 to 20/30 in one day and thats great but I still have this blurring.

I realize its very soon after the procedure but I cant help wondering if this is the best its going to get

I haven't had INTACS surgery, but I do know that any disturbance of the eye will need to heal. Somebody with more experience is sure to be along in a moment.

Hi Melora,

I have read and heard that blurring and glare may stay from 5-15 days depending on individual eye after INTACS.

But hopefully not more that 2 week time

Hi, I had Intac surgery and experienced all the blurring/double vision etc. Hard to say how long it took - it was very gradual. I would say after 1 month it was alot better, and by 3 months much much better. Hope this helps!

melora did the ghosting and double vision ever get better,ive got it really bad after 5 weeks after surgery
