Re: 3rd transplant rejection episode
Had a phone call from the hospital on Friday they have suitable material but it won't last until the 22 March so my op date has been brought forward to the 15th looks like it might go ahead this time

Re: 3rd transplant rejection episode
Thank you Anne. Just back from the hospital mixed bag of news. There are inflammation cells and it hasn't healed as well as it should have.
So i am now on steroids orally and drops plus chloramphenicol cream for a week, if not improvement then they will put a membrane on to help with the healing.
Can I ask what that is and what it involves?
Sheila

Sorry, Sheila, haven't heard of this so can't help. Hopefully the extra medication will do the trick. And I'm sure they'll explain about the membrane if that is needed - they'll need your informed consent before doing anything!

Re: 3rd transplant rejection episode
Phew no second op needed the transplant has started to heal, so no op just continuing with the eye drops and steroids
