Is anyone else suffering a lot more this year with hayfever and allergies?
My eyes are quite itchy a lot of the time and the skin around my eyes is sometimes 'stingy', and red in patches and a bit dry. I think it's all linked.
I have been using Opatanol but it doesn't seem to be helping much this year.
Anyone got any other tips?

Ok I am your man for hay fever - I used to be in pieces.
At the moment I use Opticrom Allergy eyedrops. I use them immediately after waking (you then have to wait 10 mins to put your lenses in and blink a lot) and then immediately after taking my lenses out.
I obviously also take a regular Boots Hay fever and Allergy Relief - Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10mg.
However i did a course of immunisation against hay fever - for both Tree and Grass (Grazax) It took 3 years, cost a fortune but reduced my hay fever dramatically, maybe 90%.
Before i couldn't wear contacts as my eyes were streaming and sticky - worst thing you can do is rub your eyes - as i am sure you know.
