Recent new problem, anyone have experience?

Just recently been experiencing sharp needle-like pain for 2 seconds after putting lens in and putting in lubricant.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Yes I got same problem when I put my hard lens put in my KC eye many times I don't know why this

I have a hard lens too, but the pain occurs with the drops, can't make sense of it

Hi,
I had this, I mentioned it to my consultant as I was worried it maybe the beginning of hydrops. They said it was dry eyes. The sharp stab is microscopic layers of your eye ripping off...
I use Carbomer eye gel which appears to have resolved the issue
