Just wonder if anyone here has managed to get Rose K2 lenses subsidised by the NHS, or if anyone can confirm they are on the approved NHS list for KC treatment and should be available?
Thanks,
Russ

Pretty sure I was prescribed them by Leicester Royal Infirmary, will check an old lens holder when I get home tonight.

I got Rose K2 lenses through St Thomas's at NHS rates a year or so back.
Hope this helps?

They were the first contacts I was ever given on the NHS! However I eventually changed to soft ones.

Re: Rose K2 lens subsidised by NHS?
Thanks all for the replies. Seems little doubt that these lenses should be available.
Had to get mine fiited in the high street, but will certainly pursue the NHS route again. Ideally I'd love to try scleral lenses, but my condition is compounded by astigmatisms (not associated with KC) in both eyes and I'm told by my optician that they are no sclerals currently on the market that allow an additional astigmatism prescription to be incorporated.
