Hello All
Been made redundant this week. The department I worked in is moving up north. I was offered employment in another department but we could'nt work out a way to get me to do it because my vision is so unreliable.
I suspected that at some time I wouldn't be able to continue working along my current carear line, so I have already got myself a university place starting in september to study physiotherapy. Until then I am a bit reluctant to sit on the state and claim benefits without investigating what else I can do.
Has anybody got any inspirational ideas??
Thanks
Drew

Ive got neurological issues to do with my sight as well as the KC, Its my brains reaction to my occurlar imput thats debilitating me. Where most of us see double i see grey or black and white checkerboards. The KC is only moderate but i won't have it opperated on until its advanced because there seems to be a good chance that I won't get any improvement.

I just wanted to say that i am sorry that you have lost your job, that is really sad. I so hope that you can work through this. I have a lot of trouble with my lenses and have had to take time off work, but as a nurse they are very understanding.
I dont really have any advice on this, but im hoping that you can get some help. Let us know what happens.
