Dear all,
Im looking for some advice...I have recently had a graft (on 9th of dec) and am very prone to getting styes. So far I have managed to avoid any on my newly grafted eye, but this morning I woke to find one on its way! What should I do? Just leave it unless my eye starts to look red? They never normally cause me an infection so i suppose it is unlikely that this one will either, but I cant imagine its a very good thing to have.
Any advice or experience much appreciated!
Thanks
Soph
Any advice?

Like yourself I also have the same, what I now do even when I dont have one is as follows
Every nite I boil some water until its boiling hot, I then pour it in a cup and leave it for about 3-4 mins.
Then I get a dry hankercheif, and dip it into the water, fold it over and compress my lower lid......since doing this for around 7 months I have not had a reoccurance to any styes........I repeat this for 15 mins each nite..but now I am doing it every other nite and everything is A-OKAY
However, if yu are getting them regular Id get your lids checked out as this MAY indicate a blockage of somesort...cant recall the Technical phrases
