Dear all,
It is a long time since I have posted. I have been lurking for a bit so I have some idea of the news.
I wonder if others have eyes that are affected by coughs and colds? I have the bug that is doing the rounds and was alarmed to discover I had sore and tear-ing eyes yesterday evening, and glued up and red eyes today. They don't look great, and though they are tear-ing alot today my vision is not affected.
By the by I am nearly 4 years post-graft and my vision is brill. I do have some problems with bright sun but I can readily wear glasses. I know I am very lucky.

Hi,
I am about 15 years post graft, and I must say coughs and cold have never been a problem. I have had the odd eye infection which has been treated with eye drops, but never with a cough or cold.
My wife however does get very red sore eyes when she has a cold and it could be the pressure in the sinuses affecting the tear ducts close by.
A friendly pharmacist may be able to recomend something to make your eyes more comfortable.
Regards
Gareth
