Mail order contact lens solutions

Postby GarethB » Sun 02 Jan 2005 10:43 am

Dear All,

I have visited this web site http://www.postoptics.co.uk and they look vey good.
It would appear that I could save £60 on my RGP lens solutions compared to BOOTS.

If you use them, let me know what you think at gdbeynon@hotmail.com and if there is plenty of interest I will see if the KC group could get a discount.

Regards

Gareth

Hi Gareth,

I have used them for about 4 years now and actually bought severall sets of CL's off them in the days when I could get away with daily disposibles.

I now use them to purchase solutions for my softperms and re-wetting drops and alike.

Always found them to be the cheapet on the net for this kinda thing after seraching around, good delivery and servce too! Once you have placed an order they send out a catolouge of all their products every few months so can have a quick flick through and see what want to order.

Cheers,

Dave.

I've voted "yes", but in practice I don't know if I could use them, as I couldn't find the most useful solutions on the web site (Celluvisc or Amidose). They would be useful for Miraflow, although that's hardly a high-volume requirement.

Are the Bausch and Lomb Boston advance solutions the same as the Bausch and Lomb elite range which they say are discontinued? If they are I'm gonna order them, they are much cheaper!!

Jonny, the anwer is yes, to fall in line with the Global Bausch and Lomb Brand, Elite discontinued and being 'upgraded' to Boston Advance and the labelling on Advance is being jazzed up.
