Hi
I think Ill be nearing a Transplant scenario in the coming year, will try to avoid it if need be, but its something I now need to think of
In terms of the person performing it, has anyne gt any names that are known within the UK that have a good repuation? Or is this not a good way of proceeding?
Also, how long off work do people generally take?

Hello Jay,
In my case, I actually had 6 weeks off work - but could have gone back easily after 4... but my company wouldn't let me back until their company doctor had given me the OK.
As for consultants, my first one decided that she was not competant enough to perform the operation on me, and she referred me to a colleague who would... so I'd guess that the process is self-selecting!
