I am an writing this from my hospital bed. Told you I was an addict.

Had op this afternoon and have now come around sufficiently to write.

No actual pain but have the discomfort of something in my eye......and my glasses don't fit properly over my shield so the world looks a bit blurry.

Unfortunately I am in for the night but at least I have t'internet.

Will update some more tomorrow.

Thanks for the support. This forum has helped md more than I ever thought possible.

Well, I think you might have beaten Ruralrob in the competition for the quickest post-op post! I hope you get a good night's sleep once you've finished surfing the net. And all the best for a good recovery.

Just seen this thread after I posted on your one .You certanly beat me in getting your post on here so quick !! It will be interesting to see how we both get on (pardon the pun ) over the next few months ,what drops did they give you ,Im on 4 x maxitrol (so flippin difficult to put in on my own ).My vision is a lot better than before ,although that was next to zero, but everything is stil blurry which I expected but I can count my fingers now from about 2 ft away .Wishing you a speeding recovery

keep in touch

Rob

Sorry about the delay Rob...I should have answered this ages ago. :(

I am on Pred Forte and was given Chloramphenicol cream as I had an abrasion on the cornea from the operation.
